Subscribe option in forms

When someone completes and submits a form on your website, give them the option of subscribing to your newsletter.

This assumes you are using Mailchimp to manage your subscribers.

Before you begin

You need the following in place to provide a signup option:

  1. Forms enabled using Ninja Forms.
  2. Mailchimp enabled, using MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress, and connected to your Mailchimp account.

How to do it

  1. The Ninja Forms integration for MC4WP should automatically be activated – to check this navigate to MC4WP > Integrations and look for a line like this:

  2. Then, using Ninja Forms, edit the form that should have the subscribe option.
  3. Under the Form Fields tab, add a new field to the form, locating and clicking the Mailchimp opt-in option in the right section to insert the field at the bottom of the form in the left section.

  4. Edit the field settings according to your needs.
  5. Now, under the Emails & Actions tab, add a new form action, locating and click the Mailchimp option in the right section to insert the action at the bottom of the list of actions in the left section.

  6. Edit the action settings according to your needs.

Publish the form to save your changes and then test that it works.
